My Chat With EA Game Changer Michael Amspaugh @cccgolfer08

One of the first people I met on twitter was @cccgolfer08, whom I first encountered through a Tiger Woods forum in which he (to my surprise) actually responded to a question I posted. Turns out he's an EA Sports Game Changer. I have no idea what that was so I decided to ask him. A recent graduated from Ball St. (Boom goes the dynamite!!), he also touches on video games, the Mac Miller lawsuit, and his dream golf foursome.

D.A.: Please describe your duties as an EA Game Changer?
Michael: My duties as an EA SPORTS Game Changer is to use my expert knowledge about the Tiger Woods PGA TOUR series to inform, entertain, and assist others.  I also work directly with parts of the development team to help support the game and provide feedback from the community.  Our main goal is to represent the views of the community members who buy EA SPORTS titles on an annual basis.

D.A. What are three video games that you would take on a deserted island?
Michael: Tiger Woods PGA TOUR (Preferably '13, '10, '09, or '05), Call of Duty (Preferably CoD 4: Modern Warfare or Black Ops), and Guitar Hero.

D.A. If you were video game Czar for a day, what would be your first duty?
Michael: Find the most creative people in the market.  Creativity and innovation is what makes many video games stand out.

D.A.: In 10 years, video games will......
Michael: ...be all digital and there will be no hard copies of games.  It is expensive for companies to produce hard copies of actual video games when they can easily in the near future make them all downloadable content.  I also believe that many series' will just produce major updates instead of coming out with a new game every year.  Eventually, motion gaming will be even bigger as well as 3D gaming which isn't something that I am necessarily interested in.  I prefer just sitting in front of a t.v. being lazy!

D.A. What are your thoughts on the Mac Miller lawsuit?
Michael:       It is disappointing.  Mac Miller has always been one of my favorite artists and you see many artists use old beats and rap over them.  It stinks that it had to happen to him but hopefully he will just pay the money and move on to making better music!

D.A.:  I hear you are a big Kansas fan. What would you do to improve their football team?
Michael: I honestly do not follow their college football program as much as their basketball program, but I think it will be interesting to see how Weis does in his first year as head coach.  I think having a more high profile coach may bring in some better recruits and hopefully they will fair better in the following years

D.A.: What is your dream golf foursome?
Michael: Tiger Woods, Shia Labeouf, Will Ferrell, and obviously myself.

D.A.: Which course?
Michael: Without a doubt it would be Augusta National.  Probably the most gorgeous course out there.  A close second would be Pebble Beach.

D.A.: What has been your best 18 hole score?
Michael:  My best 18 hole score in real golf is a 72 (+1).  That was back when I was playing every day back in High School.  Best 18 hole score in Tiger Woods PGA TOUR would be back in '10 when I shot I believe a 32 on Wolf Creek from the White tees!

Born in Dayton, Ohio but raised in Dallas. D.A. is no pushover
when it comes to sports. A former member of the ''we" fandom, he has wizened his
ways to understand what its really about.  Huge Lakers and Miami Hurricanes fan
but quick to think outside the box when it comes to ALL sports. His knowledge of
sports is pure GOLD! Often quick to tell you "no weak sauce" and brings the pain
when it comes to sports debates and topics. He also does it for the "kids" and
    "MILFs".
